Opportunity

Yaza is a Malta-based IoT and fleet management company helping businesses track vehicles, assets, and workforces in real time. Their web platform was already established — what they needed was a mobile companion that put that power in the hands of fleet managers and operators on the go. They came back to AitchSoft — having already worked with us on Yaza Bizsuite — to design and build OneTrak, their mobile fleet and asset tracking application for iOS and Android.

Approach

We were brought in to build the mobile app from scratch, working alongside Yaza's existing backend infrastructure. The focus was on translating the data-rich Yaza platform into a clean, fast, and highly usable mobile experience — live maps, real-time asset status, trip history, and vehicle telemetry all accessible from a phone. We built OneTrak on .NET MAUI targeting .NET 10, keeping the codebase cross-platform and maintainable as a lean engagement.

Solution

1. Live Fleet Dashboard A real-time overview of the entire fleet — active vs inactive assets, trips today, weekly mileage, and total driving time at a glance. 2. Asset & Vehicle Tracking Each asset is displayed on an interactive Google Maps view with live location, last seen time, current speed, and ignition status. Assets are grouped by type — taxis, boats, and other vehicle categories — making large fleets easy to navigate. 3. Trip History Full trip logs per asset — date, duration, route visualised on the map, max speed, eco score, distance travelled, and odometer readings. 4. AVL Data & Vehicle Telemetry Real-time telemetry data per asset including external voltage charts, battery level, GNSS status, sleep mode, fuel used, and eco score — giving fleet managers a complete picture of vehicle health and behaviour. 5. Asset Detail View Drill into any individual asset for a comprehensive view — location, movement history, and all telemetry data in one place.

Technical Highlights

.NET MAUI on .NET 10 Built on the latest .NET 10 target, OneTrak is one of the first production-ready fleet apps on the newest MAUI release — with Prism DryIoc for dependency injection, Refit for typed API consumption, and Shiny for background device monitoring. Real-Time GPS & Google Maps Integration Live asset locations rendered on Google Maps via the Onion.Maui.GoogleMaps package, with dynamic overlays, asset markers, and route visualisation across the full fleet. Telemetry Data Visualisation Vehicle telemetry — voltage charts, battery trends, and driving metrics — rendered using Microcharts and SkiaSharp, giving fleet managers meaningful visual insight into asset health over time. Syncfusion & CommunityToolkit UI A polished, data-dense interface built with Syncfusion Maui Toolkit and CommunityToolkit.Maui — handling complex list views, maps, and charts without compromising performance.

Impact

OneTrak is a second successful engagement with Yaza — a client who trusted AitchSoft with their workforce management platform and returned for their mobile fleet product. The app is complete and awaiting client-side release. It demonstrates our ability to deliver complex, data-intensive mobile applications — real-time maps, live telemetry, and fleet-scale asset management — on the latest .NET MAUI stack.
